The EQUIP system is an easy-to-use, wireless communication solution. The system functions in the 5GHz band and has automatic RF channel selection to avoid interference with Wi-Fi systems. The system has four external transceiver antennas that can be placed anywhere wireless coverage for the staff is needed. In the case of a smaller theatre, four transceivers will easily cover the stage area, the technical table, dressing rooms, control rooms and front of house. Each user communicates through an all-in-one two-channel headset which has a battery life of 12-hours.
The Clear-Com EQUIP-BASE is a wall mountable base station with a touchscreen for the set-up and monitoring of the EQUIP wireless intercom system. It is the control center for the EQUIP system to provide communication with other wireless users in production or team environments. Supports four remote transceivers powered from the base up to 500 feet. Digital and analog audio connections provide flexibility for connecting to wired intercom and external audio sources. A remote network connection facilitates updates and remote status monitoring.
The EQUIP base station is installed at eye level for easy interaction. The seven-inch color display makes it easy to connect headsets, change settings, and see battery and system health information. Users can view the status of all components from the base station display, as well as important system information such as network connectivity, transceiver RF channels and system diagnostics.
EQUIP is a high density wireless system supporting 40 headsets when used with four distributed transceivers providing extended coverage areas with seamless roaming. The system supports 10 simultaneous talkers. Four wired audio connections allow two channels of remote audio integration when connecting to additional audio systems.
