Rat Sound CAT Tails CTMX etherCON Breakout to Four Male XLR cables CTMX

The SoundTools CTMX CAT Tails utilizes a CAT5/etherCON breakout to four XLR cables. Plug directly into your audio channels and run up to four balanced analog lines down a shielded CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6 or CAT7 cable. Simplify your stage set up with SoundTools CAT Tails and run one slim Cat5e cable instead of 4 bulky XLR or DMX cables. When used with shielded cat cable, CAT Tails are compatible with 48-volt phantom power and can run four channels of lossless audio and com with no interference and no distortion.

CAT Tails are all-black, all-analog units with clear, laser-etched numbers 1-4 on each tail. CAT Tails are compatible with all RATCAT series of products, including the SoundTools CAT Box, CAT Rack, and WallCAT. Mix and match for the ultimate in modular snakes.

Please Note: SoundTools CAT branded products REQUIRE shielded CAT5 CAT5e CAT6 or CAT7 cable. Also note that ALL Rat Sound Category 5/6/7 extender products ( i.e. CAT Rack, CAT BOX. WallCAT, etc.) will travel 100 meters (330 feet) and all are compatible with balanced analog, digital, AES/EBU (110 ohm), DMX and Clear-Com signals.
