Kramer's C-A35M/IRE is an infrared emitter permanently mounted on a 3m (10ft) cable. Use the C-A35M/IRE with Kramer RC series remote control panels and the VP-23RC presentation switcher or any remote control system that offers a port for transmission of IR control information via hard wire to an IR controllable device. The 3m (10ft) cable is terminated with a 3.5mm mini connector that can be removed if needed.
The C-A35M/IRE is designed to be installed directly on the IR sensor window of the controlled device. It contains a small infrared LED housed in a miniature, mouse shaped, black plastic shell. It emits visible red light in addition to IR (infrared) control signals when activated by IR commands sent to it by IR receivers or other controllers. The cable comes with clear adhesive film on the emitter housing for attachment to the IR window of the controlled component and additional pieces of double-sided clear adhesive tape for replacement purposes.
